"The development of the personality is one of the most costly of all things. It will cost you your innocence, your illusions, your certainty. ~Carl Gustav Jung."
Individuation is a lifelong process whereby an individual encounters themselves fully; without the need for a name, job title, or societal descriptors. It is a psychological process that seperates the wheat from the chaff.
It is facing both the true and false parts of yourself daily; and only letting the true parts shine through-- not based on societal expectations, but your very own nature.
It is not a "one size fits all" journey, but rather an independent process that varies per-person. Only you know how to encounter yourself.
While this may sound self-absorbed, or solipsistic, the opposite is actually true. By learning to better connect with yourself, you can better connect with the world around you.
This is my private corner of the world, a place to reflect on who i am outside of name, or profession. It is a way to express myself, and channel my creative nature. A name can be a number of things, but it is not something that describes "me", and so for that reason I shall remain nameless.
I am many things, a father to 2 beautiful kids, a friend, a carpenter, a wanna-be programmer. The aforementioned may help shed some light on what I do but it does not describe who I am. I think the soul is best described through passion and toil, this is a combination of the two.
